=The Oracles=

Upon Orin Rakatha, there are a small collection of people who are able to divine the will of the [[World:Mystics | Mystics]]. These are the oracles. There are four who sit in the [[Location:TempleOfTheFourWinds | Temple of the Four Winds]] and hear the most powerful [[World:Mystics | mystics]], the Mystics of Judgement.

While not acting as the sitting oracle, they have no power other than their own might. As oracles are chosen from amongst the most powerful on Orin Rakatha, the title Oracle implies incredible personal power. This power is amplified massivly when they are a sitting oracle.

Oracles sit in turn, and as sitting oracle, they hear the will of the mystics of judgement, and enact it upon Orin Rakatha. The mystics communicate with their oracles each in their own mysterious ways, and the oracles through a lifetime of understanding interpret this and speak as the will of the mystics.

==The Four Winds==

The Four Winds each have their own expression, and their own season. This historically matches when the winds from the cardinal points would be strongest, but over time have taken on their own symbolism that matches the mystic.

===The Oracle of The Ice Wind===

The Oracle of the Ice Wind speaks for the Master of Time. The time when they traditionally sit as Oracle is during the winter, when the North Wind blows the strongest.

===The Oracle of the Blood Wind===

The Oracle of the Blood wind speaks for The Green, the Mystic of Balance and Nature. This oracle can be difficult to understand, and some belive that they have two personnas, one that speaks for each section of their Mystic, others believe that this oracle has simply taken to conveying more accurately than others how their Mystic speaks to them, eanbling the people of Orin Rakatha to hear more closely what the Mystic of Blance and Nature is saying.

They traditionally sit during spring, a time when the East Wind is thought to blow offering promises of new beginnings. Some belive it become known as the Blood Wind as it is often the time when the smell of blood is upon the air - from battle, from birth, and from slaughter of winter-fattened annimals.

===The Oracle of the Fire Wind ===

The Oracle of the Fire Wind speaks for the Traveller, the Mystic of Life. This Oracle enjoys wandering amongst the life that it's Mystic has created upon Orin Rakatha. It is rumoured that they spend their time when not sitting wandering Orin Rakatha, revelling in the life that their Mystic has created.

They traditionally sit during Summer, a time when the south wind blows bringing warms and growth. The Fire Wind is a reference to the fires that happen during particularly long, dry summers, which appear to begin in freshly cut fields of wheet without an obvious source, as though the warm wind has set them alight.

===The Oracle of the Dark Wind===

The Oracle of the Dark Wind, Kiara, speaks for The Dark Pharoh, the Mystic of Death. Kiara is a dedicated follower of Death both as an Oracle, and as a priest of Dreak Lord Arakis, a [[World:Prion | prion ]] of Death.

They traditionally sit during the Autumn, a time when the West Wind blows. During autmn, it appears that the West Wind signals the shortening of the days, bringing in the darkness. From there it gained it's name as the 'Dark Wind'. The illusions and connections with the seeming death of nature is apparent.
