Description

The Temple is a squat, timeworn ziggurat of reddish sandstone, partially overgrown with vines and carved in deep relief with spiraling glyphs, sun and moon motifs, and serpents coiled around calendar wheels. Its outer walls depict ancient rituals offering both blood and memory in sacrifice. Inside, a blackened stone altar sits at the center of a circular chamber, etched with grooves leading to the shapes of time-wheels.

The temple shows signs of recent care. Fresh flowers stand near the altar. Around the room, in alcoves and corners, there are small shrines to various deities. One shrine that is adornd with black crow feathers is drapped in a black cloth of mourning, coving the offerings and the shrine itself.
